Coco was made with upcycled clay at the end of one holiday away. Laura moddelled Coko on the last day of the time away and there was enough clay to make a small bird and the very last bits were used to make feathers. Upon seeing Coco, there was some teasing about and itwas said that she has a coat like a sheep. Coco was slowly dried and fired in special kiln. Then it was hand glazed and finished in ancient raku firing which always brings a final surprise to each of the pieces making every single one unique with their own story. There is a life happiness in every Bird of Happiness, born out of synergy of human touch, clay, water, air and heat. Holding a Bird of Happiness in our hand we feel one with the nature.
