Bird of Happiness is colourful like Venetian masks and is named Veneto after a region in Italy.
Veneto was entirely hand shaped, burnished and glazed. It was fired multiple times in a special ceramic kiln at the temperature of around thousand degrees centigrades.
The last firing was an exciting ancient raku firing which brings a final surprise to each Bird of Happiness making every single one unique with their own story. There is a life happiness in each bird sculpture, born out of synergy of all four elements, fire, water, earth and air. Holding a Bird of Happiness in our hand we feel one with the nature.
