Shooting Star is one of the very few Birds of Happiness with a prominent tail. Her colour reminds us of the deep purple of the summer”s night sky. She has found her place on a seemingly old vessel and she is taking a break. Shooting Star was created by hand in the traditional terracotta clay, hand glazed and kiln fired several times.
The hand glazing process gives a distinctive finishing touch to every sculpture, making each Bird entirely unique and one of a kind. There is a life happiness in every Bird of Happiness, born out of synergy of human touch, clay, water, air and heat. Holding a Bird of Happiness in our hand we feel one with the nature.
