Lucky is one of just a handful of Birds of Happiness lucky enough to have been finished in a wood firing kiln. An ancient way of natural ash glazing makes for a special and unpredictable finish on each of these Birds of Happiness. Lucky was named by a customer when she was in he very 1st making stages. She survived polishing, drying and bisque firing the kiln. She also survived 27 hours of wood firing emerging triumphant and beautifully ash glazed.
There is a life happiness in every Bird of Happiness, born out of synergy of human touch, clay, water, air and heat. Holding a Bird of Happiness in our hand we feel one with the nature.
