Tactile Bird of Hpappiness is just that, extremely pleasantly tactile. Made to be held. It was handmodelled from soft chamotte clay by human had.Small objects found in nature were used to make an imprint in soft clay, thus creating special texture. After drying on the hot summer sunshine Tactile Bird of Happiness was fired in special ceramic kiln at almost thousand degrees centigrades.
The hand glazing process and final ancient raku firing bring a final surprise to each of the pieces making every single one unique with their own story. There is a life happiness in each bird sculpture, born out of synergy of all four elements, fire, water, earth and air. Holding a bird in our hand we feel one with the nature.
