Kolekcija Pravo cvijeće nastala je kada me je mama jednog školskog prijatelja moga sina, po zanimanju profesorica, vrlo ekološki osviještena i visokih estetskih kriterija, prava eko-ratnica koja nastoji ljude nagovoriti da se riješe plastike, upitala  može li se kupiti šalica s otiskom pravog cvijeća. Ubrala sam kiticu peršina u cvatu i izradila šalicu. Usput sam napravila mali pladanj za kolače. U slijedećoj šetnji sa psom u poljima sam ubrala svakakvog ljekovitog i divljeg bilja i uključila ga u zdjele za salatu i male tanjuriće. Bilo je to krajem lipnja, peršin je otišao u sjeme ali je zato lavanda bila na vrhuncu cvata kao i mnogi drugi sićušni cvjetni dragulji i ja sam jednostavno nastavila kreirati. I tako je nastala kolekcija Pravo cvijeće.

My Mum makes her own herbal teas so in my pottager I don’t just grow the usual parsley, camomile and sage. I also have wild oregano, comfrey, rosemary and lavanda, to mention just a few. An inquiery by a mother of my son’s former classmate encouraged me to look into using my herbs in a novel way. Being an ecologically minded and aesthetically wired person, forever actively persuading everyone to ditch plastic she asked me is it possible to buy a mug with real flower impressions. Well, I haven’t got any, but surely I can make them! I made a mug with the impression of  flowering parsley and a fig leaf. Cake trays and salad bowls were next. That was at the end of June. Soon all parsley flowers turned to seed, but lavanda was at the height of its bloom, as was  comfrey and many other delicate little gems and I continued creating imprints in vases and plates. Soon I extened my choice of flowers. On my daily walks with the dog I was collecting wild meadow flowers to put in a vase and some of them also  left a forever- imprint in clay. This is how Real Flower collection was born.
